Argan Oil has been a buzzword in haircare for quite some time now, but did you know it’s great for the skin too?
The Argan tree is native to North Africa and has been around for nearly two million years. The kernels of this tree are harvested and turned into an oil that has been described as the essence of life.
It’s packed full of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants and has been used for centuries by North African cultures. Argan oil is a superfood and has some amazing properties that have been used in Berber medicine to help treat skin conditions, rheumatism and even heart problems!
In the last 10 years this wonder ingredient has taken the western world by storm as they realised its potent antiaging and beauty benefits.
1. Protects against sun damage
Argan oil has long been used by Moroccan women to protect against sun damage, it’s a powerful anti-oxidant that helps prevent against free radical damage (it’s even being investigated to prevent skin cancer!). It also prevents burns and hyperpigmentation too!
2. Deeply Moisturising and healing
